Role: Controls Engineer Preferred; 5+ years relevant experience in an automation role within a manufacturing environment, or similar. Preferred; PMI Certified. Required, BS in Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education. Strong background and functional knowledge of PLC and HMI programming, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, vision systems, electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and servo control. Experience programming or interfacing with robotic systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word). Working knowledge of relevant manufacturing disciplines, cost control, planning, and industry safety regulations. Strong knowledge of process improvement tools/techniques. Demonstrate the ability to identify complex problems and develop corrective action plan to implement solutions. Results-oriented professional who can work across organizational lines and who can achieve business objectives through personal initiative. Ability to work effectively with little to no supervision and seek out the necessary resources to complete tasks. Strong oral and written communications skills.
