Role: Security and Network Architect Location: Seattle, WA Onsite Duration: 6+ Months Job description: Mandatory Qualifications: 1) Experience in design and deployment of AWS infrastructure running workloads, leveraging most of the AWS features and functions. 2) Experience in design and deployment AWS infrastructure that supports distributed workloads on public and private/on-prem clouds. 3) Experience in design and deployment AWS infrastructure that supports workload security from layer 3 to layer 7 attacks. 4) Excellent understanding of AWS Networking and Identity & Access Management 5) Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP etc). 6) Familiarity with encryption technologies, PKI, and TLS/SSL. 7) Excellent problem-solving capabilities 8) Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams. Preferred Qualifications: 1) Hands-on experience with network and security tools such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper, Check Point, etc. 2) Experience with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), NAC, DLP. 3) Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including risk management, threat modeling, and attack surface reduction. 4) Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) for network and security tasks.
