Continuously monitor the security posture of the environment and Secure environments through controlled access and policy enforcement. Interface with vendors and internal global teams to ensure the environment conforms to the customers architecture standards. Configure VMs & workloads using VMware native features (Vmotion/SVmotion/HA/FT/DRS/DRS Rules). Configure systems for High Availability & Fault Tolerance. Installing, configure and support Microsoft-based servers, services and enterprise applications. Proactively monitor performance of the environments by utilizing specific monitoring tools. Create and maintain documentation as necessary for operational and security audits. Produce operational and procedure documentation and provide detailed knowledge transfer to peers | Competencies: | Digital : VMWare | Experience (Years): | 10 & Above | Essential Skills: | VCP certified, Microsoft certified. VMware experience in maintaining and upgrading ESXi (6.x, 5.x) hosts and Appliances. Good understanding of emerging HPE technology including Composable Systems, Synergy Chassis and blade systems, HPE Virtual Connect, HPE Storage solutions. Experienced in Converged Infrastructure Management with HPE OneView. Good understanding of Storage Area Network and fiber channel technologies. Good understanding of Networking and experience in troubleshooting layer 1, 2, and 3 networking issues.
