Role: .NET Architect with Oracle DB Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 10100 Description Selected candidate will provide systems architect support for the NYWIC Management Information System, which is in the maintenance phase. NYWIC is a State-hosted, vendor-maintained web application that is used to deliver nutritional benefits to New Yorks women, infants and children in need; also used for vendor management, investigation case management, research and reporting to USDA. Duties Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 web and applications within a VMware environment. Manage, troubleshoot, and support IIS web applications. Conduct application promotions up through all environments using Microsoft Power. Collaborate with technical workgroups to identify and document server infrastructure needs and prioritize subsequent implementations. Document server environment configurations, procedures, and policies. Document application process flows using Microsoft Visio. Follow implementation standards and best practices for planning and notification of end users and stake holders of production changes. This will include providing timely justification, plan for implementation, projected impact on users and critical nature of change. These practices will be conducted using current change control system (Serena Infrastructure Change Control) or other NYSDOH accepted change control systems. Collaborate with technical workgroups to develop a server migration plan for the existing to new system and existing to new location. Interact with multi-disciplinary teams, translating server infrastructure subject matter information into requirements for technical specification and translating technical information for business/program consumption to ensure consistency and common understanding across the stakeholder groups. Mandatory Requirements Experience (14+ Years) Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months experience with IIS Applications, configuration, troubleshooting, and support. 84 months experience with .NET application management, configuration, troubleshooting and support. 84 months experience with application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace. 84 months experience supporting and troubleshooting high availability, load balanced, and disaster recovery server environments. 84 months experience with Oracle SQL Developer. 60 months experience with Microsoft Power.
