Experience in design and deployment AWS infrastructure that supports distributed workloads on public and private/on-prem clouds. Experience in design and deployment AWS infrastructure that supports workload security from layer 3 to layer 7 attacks. Excellent understanding of AWS Networking and Identity & Access Management Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP etc). Familiarity with encryption technologies, PKI, and TLS/SSL. Excellent problem-solving capabilities Strong communication skills with the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional departments and teams. Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with network and security tools such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper, Check Point, etc. Experience with firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), NAC, DLP. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including risk management, threat modeling, and attack surface reduction. Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) for network and security tasks. Job Responsibilities: Deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and support teams deploying their workloads Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on networking and security related configuration on AWS cloud infrastructure. Use prior knowledge and creativity to troubleshoot and solve technical issues as they arise.
