The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scripting, database management, and production support processes, along with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide production support for web applications on the Microsoft Windows platform. Develop and manage automation scripts using Power or Python. Manage and troubleshoot batch jobs using tools like TWS, Control M, or Autosys. Perform database queries and management on SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL. Troubleshoot and resolve web application issues, including those related to IIS servers. Work with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for ticket management and issue resolution. Collaborate with cross functional teams to address system/network related issues. Maintain a high level of availability and reliability for supported applications, including on call shifts. Required Skills and Experience: 3+ years of experience in Windows based web application production support. Proficiency in Power scripting or Python scripting for automation. Hands on experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL). Familiarity with batch job management tools like TWS, Control M, or Autosys. Strong knowledge of IIS server management and basic networking concepts. Experience with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy for incident and change management. Excellent problem solving and communication skills. Willingness to work in shifts and provide on call support. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in ITIL or relevant production support tools.
