Job: RIM Consultant ( Records Information Management) Location: Spring TX - Onsite Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description : We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Records Information Systems and Governance Program Manager to design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Records Information Management (RIM) program. This role involves establishing robust governance frameworks, engineering document management systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in RIM program development, strong knowledge of engineering documentation, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in information systems, Records Management, Library Science, Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Experience : 5+ years of experience in Records Information Management, document control, or a related field, with a focus on engineering documentation. Proven expertise in designing and implementing RIM programs, policies, and systems. Experience with records management systems (e.g., SharePoint, OpenText, Laserfiche) and engineering document management systems (EDMS). Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 15489, GDPR, Sarbanes-Oxley, industry-specific regulations). Proficiency in engineering document management principles and software. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in records management (e.g., CRM, IGP) or project management (e.g., PMP).
