Job Title: Workday Finance Consultant with Banking and Settlement Module Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite) Type: Contract Role Description: Gather business information and incorporate it into project plans with the project manager or lead. Provide timely and accurate documents and communication to the project team. Work on complex projects identifying business requirements and creating project and process specifications for new/enhanced systems. Deliver accurate, timely, and responsive services and communication to the business on complex problems. Solve a variety of complex system-related issues related to business requirements and technology, aiding in system design or implementation. Identify and implement process improvements, including quality inspection. Drive quantifiable results through facilitating interaction with the business. Provide effective training on the process to team members. Act as a champion for the team and intervene on matters that create roadblocks to success. Essential Skills: Bachelors Degree 5+ years of experience implementing, developing, and supporting a Workday financial system, with 2+ years in Banking and Settlement Module. Experience in upgrading, configuring, and implementing updates and go-lives for Workday Financials. Strong background/knowledge of accounting and financial concepts (GL close processes, consolidations, allocations, A/P, Banking, Taxes, etc.). Background in creating reports for the accounting team.
