From: Gaurav Nain, sibitalent.com [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Lead BI Developer Location: 100% remote Working EST hours JOB DESCRIPTION Project Current State: There is an ongoing effort in its third year migrating two on-prem data warehouses into one using Snowflake and moving to Azure. The first go live was Oct 2024, where one user group has now been able to access the new Snowflake DW, with the next 8 groups coming online throughout 2025. Starting in 2025, Client will be adding a BI migration team to support the migration of over 300 Tableau reports and dashboards to the cloud. The first consulting role needed is a BI Lead who will join the team in January/February 2025 first and take on 50% development and 50% lead responsibility. The lead responsibility will also involve support in hiring both the onshore QA Engineer and the offshore Tableau Development team which will be hired in February/March. There is a clear background check required for employment and all consultants must provide their own home equipment to be used for this assignment. Responsibilities Taking direction and requirements from the client BI Manager and Technical Lead and taking on a combo role of 50% Tableau Development and 50% leading a small on/off shore BI Development team to deliver these deliverables: As Technical Lead (50% of the time): ** Be the liaison between client and team to ensure deliverables are met using a 2 week sprint/Agile methodology and select, onboard, train and lead the combo team as needed and ensure their performance meets client expectation As Tableau Developer (50% of the time): Work with Technical Lead and BI Manager on assigned tasks and complete development in the timeframes given. There are over 300 reports and dashboards to be migrated to the cloud. Be willing to work EST hours 40 hours per week to support the India team. (Client is on PST hours, so there may be some key meetings on PST as well). Expectation is 40 hours per week only. Required 5+ years of IT experience as a Technical Lead in a BI and/or DW environment with BI reporting and Snowflake Datawarehouse Development with specific experience migrating Tableau reports and dashboards to the cloud. 5+ years of experience leading and managing a combination of on and offshore developers and test engineers. Strong experience working remotely as a Tableau Developer and leading remote teams with success in meeting client requirements. Strong knowledge of health insurance data, including HEDIS, Risk Adjustment, Membership, Provider, Eligibility, Claims, etc. Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management experience Strength in verbal and written communication and ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders Keywords: quality analyst business intelligence information technology golang Lead BI Developer - W2, Remote [email protected] |
