The ServiceNow Customer Administrator role is a technical position focused on managing the administration and health of the ServiceNow platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Customize forms, fields, applications, modules, and tables.
Activate plug-ins and build reports, gauges, and homepages.
Set up and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Create and manage Service Catalog requests, workflows, and approvals.
Configure notifications, import data, and manage update sets.
Customize the Knowledge Base and Access Control Rules (ACL).
Handle scripting, third-party integrations, and technical queries.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Manage the ServiceNow release cycle and system upgrades.
Troubleshoot patch and release management issues.
Requirements:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or in progress).
1012 years of experience with:
Web Technologies (e.g., XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS).
ITIL v3 methodologies and enterprise IT architecture.
Relational databases and programming-based database manipulation.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with LDAP directories (Active Directory, OpenLDAP).
Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SAML 1.1/2.0) and web services integrations.
Understanding of web applications, networks, and email protocols (SMTP, POP3).
This role is ideal for candidates with proven implementation experience and a background in IT operations or IT service management.
