The location is Melville, NY THIS IS A HIGH LEVEL ROLE NEED TO STRONG TECHNICAL SKILLS IN ADDITION TO LEADERSHIP/COMMUNICATION SKILLS Requirements Gathering and Analysis o Conduct collaborative workshops with key stakeholders to understand current challenges, business objectives, and technical requirements. o Understanding the existing data infrastructure, processes, and governance procedures, and assess data accessibility and usability gaps. o Define measurable objectives to guide the data lake development process. o Document key issues and observations based on the current processes and practices in meeting business objectives. Data Availability Assessment o Perform a comprehensive inventory of clients existing data assets across systems and platforms, pertained to the client and broker hierarchy use case. o Evaluate data quality, identify redundancies, and recommend cleansing strategies to improve accuracy and relevance. o Map data sources to data lake architecture design, aligning with use case and reporting needs. o Assess potential technologies, platforms, and architectures for building the data lake. o Provide a detailed recommendation that aligned with Azure Well-Architected Framework. MVP Data Lake and Power BI Dashboard Build o Build an MVP data lake and a Power BI dashboard for client and broker hierarchy for revenue, costs, and profit at all levels. o Include a high-level roadmap for future implementations, with considerations for scalability, security, and compliance. Training and Documentation o Document the newly created data lake architecture, schema, Power BI dashboard and best practices for future reference. o Provide knowledge transfer through the project lifecycle to ensure proper transition. o Provide ongoing support and assistance to users during the initial transition period. o Document standards, guidelines, processes, and procedures to assist in the governance of the data lake.
