Role: Java Developer Location: Remote/Mclean, VA 12 months Contract to Hire required USC/GC Only, someone who can convert fulltime after contract Financial and Ecommerce experience required Job Requirements: 12-15+ years of experience is preferred Javascript and Typescript are required. Node backend and React front end both required. 60% front and 40% backend AWS is not required at first, but they will have to learn some in the role. Category specific UI and interfaces for Capital One Shopping: Tailoring experience to specific customers. Experience with consumer-facing web applications is best to have. Ecommerce type sites are ideal. May be able to expand to platform work, but will start to work on just one product at a time. Team builds out new products working with a product manager and a sr. developer to expand offerings in areas. Depending on performance there is an opportunity to work on platform tools that would expend over multiple platforms.
