Title: SQL Server DBA/PowerPlatform Developer Locations: Gaithersburg, MD(Onsite) DMV Local only.. We will only consider candidates local to the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area. Responsibilities: Maintain existing databases and related data processes and applications and support the development of new applications. Develop databases and write, test, document and install program code. Participate in testing, auditing, validation and Statistical Reporting, and coordinate with users to obtain feedback on delivered products and services. Prepare a variety of documentation, including but not limited to design, technical and functional specifications, workflow diagrams, requests for proposal/estimate, defect description reports, software evaluations, policies and procedures, and training guides. specifications, policies, procedures, and training materials Upgrade and migrate and rehost databases and applications onto newer technologies. Design and implement new data sources and processes as dictated by police department requirements. Willing and able to adapt to new technologies rapidly. Required: Bachelors degree in computer science or related fields. 2+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of: SQL Server views, stored procedures, scheduled jobs, and database backups. 2+ years of experience writing, debugging, and testing Power, SQL, and CMD scripts. 1+ year of experience with: ETL of XML, Excel, and CSV files. Creating and supporting PowerApps applications and PowerAutomate flows in production use. Creating and supporting Power BI visualizations, reports, apps, and dashboards. Experience enforcing role-based security using Active Directory. Experience integrating SQL Server, SSRS, Oracle Database, Active Directory, UKG Workforce TeleStaff, SharePoint, and Power Platform technologies. Experience developing automated processes for employee directory services. Demonstrated creative use of data-driven techniques in disaster recovery.
