This role requires deep technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing database solutions that support the organizations business goals. Required: 7+ years of experience in database engineering or administration. Senior level knowledge of database development using SQL Server and Azure Strong exp with Azure SQL Strong exp with Cosmos DB Strong exp with Azure SQL Managed Instances Advanced T-SQL & Query Optimization Proficiency in Azure Data Factory to support cloud-based data solutions. Experience with SSRS, Power BI, and ETL processes using SSIS Responsibilities: Database Design and Development: o Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing database systems. o Develop and optimize database architecture to meet application requirements. o Create and maintain database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures. Performance Tuning and Optimization: o Analyze database performance and implement solutions to improve efficiency. o Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring system reliability and availability. o Conduct capacity planning and database scaling to support business growth. Data Management and Security: o Implement and maintain data integrity, security, and privacy policies. o Manage backups, recovery plans, and disaster recovery procedures. o Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements. Collaboration and Support: o Work closely with software developers, data analysts, and IT teams to support application development and business intelligence initiatives. o Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior database engineers. o Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure best practices.
