Ideal Candidate Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Amazon Web
Services (AWS), including its infrastructure, services, and best practices, as
well as expertise in implementing, configuring, and maintaining Active
Directory solutions within AWS environments. The role involves managing cloud
infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems, and
troubleshooting complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish configuration,
compliance, and audit program to effectively manage AWS accounts and
resources.

Review cloud resources and
cost drivers, including compute, storage, network, managed services,
database, service licenses, marketplace, and accounts.

Implement and manage Active
Directory (AD) services in AWS environments, including AD Domain Services,
AD Federation Services, and AD Certificate Services.

Integrate AWS Managed
Microsoft AD with on-premises AD infrastructure or other cloud
environments.

Set up and manage Active
Directory Federation Services (ADFS) in the cloud, ensuring secure access
and identity management.

Automate the provisioning
and management of Active Directory resources within AWS.

Monitor rightsizing,
elasticity, storage optimization, and identify unused resources as part of
our Managed Services offering.

Maintain cloud-based servers
by patching vulnerabilities, managing backup/restore operations,
provisioning new servers, configuring firewalls, and monitoring systems.

Manage account
containerization and tagging for internal cost centers and end-client
billing feeds. Monitor cost allocations, security compliance, budgets, and
set alerts across accounts, workloads, and users.

Use AWS Config to monitor
and track resource configurations, set standards, evaluate compliance, and
remediate configuration drift.

Use AWS CloudTrail for
compliance audits by recording and storing event logs for actions made
within AWS accounts.

Set controls to monitor
compliance and ensure governance. Experience with monitoring tools,
middleware software, and ITSM tools is a plus.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelors degree in
computer science or a related field from an accredited college or
university.

Experience:

12+ years of Cloud
Administration Experience.

Strong technical knowledge
of IT Infrastructure, including switches, routers, server operating
systems, storage arrays, and security applications.

Strong system
administration experience in both Windows and Linux environments.

Experience with automation
using frameworks such as SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.

Experience in public cloud
environments, particularly AWS and/or Azure.

Experience working in an
ITIL-driven environment and understanding ITIL principles and processes.

Strong technical knowledge
of current protocols, operating systems, and standards, with the ability
