Key Responsibilities: Dashboard & Dossier Development: Design, develop, and implement advanced MicroStrategy dashboards, dossiers, and documents that align with best practices and branding guidelines. MicroStrategy Architecture: Serve as an architect for MicroStrategy solutions, including schema objects, transformations, and metadata configuration to support business reporting needs. UI/UX Design: Develop wireframes and incorporate user-centric design principles to build engaging, intuitive interfaces that enhance data exploration and decision-making. Performance Optimization: Collaborate with data and infrastructure teams to perform query tuning, data modeling, and SQL optimization for efficient and scalable dashboards. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document technical specifications, and deliver solutions on time. Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of dashboards, ensure data accuracy, and implement quality checks and best practices. Required Qualifications: Experience: 7+ years of hands-on MicroStrategy development, including MicroStrategy Architect/Developer roles. UI/UX Expertise: Demonstrated experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and incorporating user-centric design practices into dashboard solutions. SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL skills with the ability to optimize queries, analyze complex data sets, and implement performance best practices. Branding & Visual Design: Experience working within corporate branding guidelines to deliver visually coherent and user-friendly dashboards. Portfolio: Ability to showcase previous dashboards or design work is highly desired. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for gathering requirements and presenting solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Location: Willingness to work on-site 3 days per week in McLean, VA; local candidates are preferred. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Knowledge of best practices in data visualization tools and emerging trends in BI/analytics.
