Job Title: APIGEE Admin
Location: Chicago, IL (Remote ok)

Job Description: As an Apigee Admin Portal Specialist, candidate will be responsible for administering, configuring, and managing the Apigee Developer/Admin Portal. This role involves managing user access, maintaining security protocols, and ensuring smooth collaboration between API consumers and developers through the portal.

Administer and maintain the Apigee Developer/Admin Portal.
Manage portal access, user roles, and permissions for API consumers.
Ensure seamless integration between the Developer Portal and Apigee API Gateway.
Customize the Developer Portal to meet branding and organizational requirements.
Publish and manage API products and documentation through the portal.
Implement API monetization strategies and manage developer subscriptions.
Monitor portal performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime.
Collaborate with API developers to publish and update APIs on the portal.
Ensure proper security practices and governance over APIs exposed via the portal.

Skills and Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with Apigee Developer Portal (Drupal or integrated versions).
Familiarity with API lifecycle management and API documentation standards.
Knowledge of user management, roles, and access control in Apigee.
Experience in integrating Apigee Developer Portal with API Gateway.
Understanding of OAuth2, SAML, and other API security mechanisms.
Experience in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for portal customization.

Preferred:
Experience with Apigee Hybrid or Apigee X.
Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of API monetization and billing mechanisms.
