Job Description: Collaboratively work with scrum delivery team including product owner, developers, scrum master etc. Designs and develops complex end-to-end, custom software applications. Develops and maintains appropriate system documentation throughout the system life cycle (e.g., design, development, test, support, change release, and implementation documentation). Essential Skills: Hands on experience in Installing and Uninstalling MQ 9.0 and above in Linux Expertise in Upgrading and Downgrading Queue Managers in Linux Hands on experience in IBM MQ cluster. Expertise on Queue Management Knowledge on MQ Dead Letter Queue Issues Troubleshooting Incidents in MQ Environment Recovering MQ damaged objects and default objects Channel Triggering and Application Triggering Desirable Skills: Updating MQ Configuration Files Remote Administration of Queue Managers through MQ Explorer Taking Backup of Queue Managers with Scripts Taking the Objects Backup and Permission Backup Creating Queue Managers with Linear Logs and Circular Log Modes Administrating the MQ Software Level Errors and Queue Manager Level Errors Applying Security to MQ Objects and Queue Managers Implementing SSL among MQ Channels Migrating backup with Channel Authentication Records for Secure Connectivity of MQ Clients Installing the MQ Series fix packs and support packs on Windows/Linux machines. Configuration of WMQ, setting up of Queues, Queue managers and Channels. Rising PMR to IBM on different critical issues and troubleshoot along with vendor and applying bug fixes. Analyzing MQ Level Logs. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with excellent understanding of system development methodologies, techniques, and tools. Configured and implemented Distributed Queuing on Client/Server architectures. Active participants in monitoring the middleware and perform daily on call tasks (checking error logs, fail over queues, System Logs, backed out messages) to maintain a healthy system. Monitoring the Ticketing tools and working on the ticket if any issue related to MQ.
