Role: IBM DataStage Architect Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 10119 Description This is a data warehouse project supporting critical DOL functions focused on the development and optimization of fraud queries primarily related to Fraud Detection/Improper Payment for the Office of Special Investigations, Benefits Policy, Audit and Training and others. Duties Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following Data Warehouse design, development, support and data mining related to new and existing complex Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) routines related to Fraud Detection/Improper Payment algorithms. Develop, test and implement program logic for data mining and ETL development. 3. Efficiently implement ETL technical specifications from development through test, staging and production environments Optimize ETL data load jobs to improve performance and automate. Investigating and resolving data loading and/or data integrity issues. Create solutions to improve system performance and availability. Develop and maintain logical and physical dimensional data models for data warehouse/data mart. Follow agency standards to ensure data accuracy and integrity through analysis and coding, Write clear documentation of process and data modeling and all associated tasks and documents including unit and quality assurance test plans. Work closely with Office of Special Investigations, Data Warehouse and Management staff to ensure clear communication between all parties. Mandatory Requirements Experience (14+ Years) Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-level architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 Months Experience developing fraud detection methodologies and transforming data elements into meaningful fraud detection queries and customer output 84 Months experience with Unemployment Insurance. 84 Months Experience developing and testing query solutions using Oracle PL/SQL query. 84 Months Experience using IBM Data Stage. 84 Months Experience with UNIX Scripting 84 Months Experience developing dimensional data models for Cognos data analytics 84 Months Experience with ETL design/Data Warehouse development using PL/SQL programming 84 Months Experience in tuning SQL within an Oracle environment 36 Months Experience working with PPI and SSA data security requirements (working with data contained in Employee Records in a State Agency, Federal Agency or Private Organization) in a data warehouse environment.
