Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and QA engineers, to understand project requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices in software development. Participate in the design and implementation of application architecture and APIs. Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Java development tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies to enhance application performance and development efficiency. Document application changes and collaborate with teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and transitions. Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. Required Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development. Proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.) and RESTful APIs development. Strong experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React is a plus. Experience with version control tools like Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications : Experience in the insurance or agricultural industry. Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
