Position: Scrum Master Location: Westlake, TX Hybrid Eligibility: USC, GC Only Near by relocation works Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with 7-10 years of experience, ideally in data analytics, Power BI, or data warehouse environments. This is a high-priority, proactive requisition for a client-focused position where you will guide a team through Agile methodologies and ensure the successful delivery of Power BI reports and Snowflake data projects. Key Responsibilities: Scrum Leadership: Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement. Act as a servant leader, helping the team to focus on delivering value while promoting collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. Guide the team in self-organization, conflict resolution, and removal of obstacles that could hinder progress. Collaborate with the Product Owner to define user stories, prioritize the backlog, and refine it based on business requirements. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development team, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of Power BI reporting and Snowflake data projects with business goals. Foster effective communication within the team and encourage regular updates from team members. Performance and Delivery: Ensure the team delivers high-quality Power BI reports and dashboards that align with business objectives and user requirements. Monitor and report on team progress and velocity, adjusting as needed to improve timelines and performance. Proactively identify and resolve obstacles or risks that may impact the teams ability to meet sprint goals. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and propose actionable changes to enhance team efficiency and collaboration. Use retrospectives to gather feedback and implement improvements for future sprints. Required Qualifications: Experience & Skills: Proven experience as a Scrum Master, ideally in data analytics, Power BI, or data warehouse environments. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks. Hands-on experience with Power BI reports, data visualizations, or business intelligence tools. Familiarity with Snowflake or other data warehouse platforms. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools. Business Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Banking, Financial Services, 401k, and Benefits industries. Desired Attributes: Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
