- Extensive experience in Prudential's Agile delivery model.

- Ability to work two days a week from Newark, NJ and participate in PI
planning onsite.

- Expertise in working with Scrum Masters to improve train flow with a focus on
metrics and reporting using Jira and Miro.

- Technical background in migrating legacy systems to new data models focused
on customer, contract, and distributor domains.

- Knowledge in orchestrating data for business agnostic domains that support
the P&L for U.S. businesses.

- Technical focus on ensuring audit-worthiness and compliance.

- Domain experience is preferred to be agnostic but having a background with
Prudential is highly regarded.

- Ability to manage program delivery with a bias towards app development over
the data side.

- Four years of Agile delivery experience, with one year as a Release Train
Engineer managing 10+ teams.

- Understanding of safe Agile frameworks at the portfolio, program, and team
levels.

- Comfortable with change management due to re-architecting data models and
leadership shifts.

- Previous experience at Prudential preferred for understanding internal
vernacular and complexities.

Overview:

Prudential is seeking a skilled professional to help implement
and execute on aggressive and transformational business outcomes: this
role will support Prudentials Enterprise Digital Transformation and / or
US Insurance & Retirement businesses.

skills, demonstrated expertise in Agile and scaling methodologies, a high

The Release Train Engineer [RTE] is a righty visible leadership
role requiring a unique blend of strategic and tactical skill sets. You
will help establish, launch and lead multiple Agile teams in a period of
enormous change and excitement for Prudential.

Required:

Minimum of 8 years of
program management experience

At least 4 years
of experience in Agile
delivery and implementation

Minimum of 1 year of
experience as Release Train Engineer

Fluency in multiple
Agile methodologies and proven experience in scaling and implementation
across teams of various maturities including start-ups

Experience navigating
matrixed businesses and functions at all organizational levels, including
senior leadership

Demonstrated ability to
build strong relationships, influence outcomes and deliver results

Established record of
leading inclusively, doing the right thing for the team and the business,
and driving high team performance

Exceptional business
acumen, with ability to deliver the right customer outcomes

Success in building new
products, capabilities, and teams

Assertive and able to

Ability to flourish in

Exceptional facilitation

Bachelors degree or
equivalent relevant experience

Responsibilities:

This Director, RTE
working closely with the Chief Product Owner and Solution Architect, is
responsible for the planning, execution and implementation of a wide
variety of business outcomes.

Day to day
accountabilities will include:

Manage the flow of
value for the Agile Release Train (ART) using tools like Jira and Miro

Work very closely with
Chief Product Owner, Solution Architect, Product Owners, Scrum Masters,
and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment

Establish and
communicate calendars for iterations and program increments

Facilitate Program
Increment (PI) Planning, PI Pre-Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos
and other relevant ART-level syncs and ceremonies

Synthesize, track and
communicate PI Objectives, risks, dependencies, and key milestones with
all stakeholders

Help manage risks and
dependencies, escalate and track impediments

Assist tracking
execution of features and developing metrics that help the ART make
data-driven decisions

Lead process
improvement opportunities resulting from Inspect & Adapt workshops

Build and maintain
relationships with internal & external partners (e.g., Business
Partners, vendors, clients, consultants) to ensure maximum effective use
of talent; facilitate the provisioning of talent based on business needs,
budgets, capacity and skillsets

Interacts closely with
technical and business leaders, including Senior Leadership Teams,
providing a blend of tactical and strategic leadership and coaching
relevant to Agile delivery

Make complex judgments,
often with autonomy

Negotiate business
deliverables and influence related outcomes
