Role: Data Integration Engineer Location: Remote (EST Located candidates only) Looking for a data integration Developer for a 5-month long contract with possible extensions. Candidates can work remotely but east coast work from home is preferred. Top 3 Skills: MS SQL MS SQL Server Data Integrations SSIS Full MS Development Stack Preferred Skills: Database Base Design MS Power Platform Tableau Will support our clients line of business across the state that takes data and turns it into action. Duties will include database development as well as data integrations using the MS stack Support for the network operated by our client, it connects data and measures to the people that use them to improve public health using a web-based data portal. Activities will include developing SQL stored procedures as well as integrations to support the data visualizations. This work ranges from analyzing existing data systems and integrations to working to optimize them and when needed re-platform legacy systems/process. Maintenance of systems and processes is also required. This position will be tasked to developed data integrations, enhance automation of reporting and data collections. They will also work to ensure best practices and MS ALM process are used at both the database as well as application layer. They will liaison. with teams across IT to ensure business goals and objectives are met while following governance and ensure policies and procedures are adhered to. Proven track record of hands-on technical design and code work within large complex systems. Proven hands-on technical work with a variety of technologies. Demonstrated technical expertise integrating a variety of diverse technical environments and cross-platform technologies. Proven experience mentoring and performing supervisory functions for technical teams. Ability to make best practice recommendations based on past work. Proven ability to present complex technical constructs to business and non-technical users.
