They are seeking a skilled Prophet 21 Developer to join their team and support the development and enhancement of their Prophet 21 system. Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Prophet 21 Developer to join their IT team. This role will focus on customizing, integrating, and optimizing the Prophet 21 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to meet the unique needs of our medical distribution business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Prophet 21 platform, excellent coding skills, and experience in the medical distribution industry or ERP systems. Key Responsibilities: Development & Customization: Design, develop, and implement custom applications and modifications within the Prophet 21 system to support business processes specific to packaging and solution distribution. System Integration: Work on integrating Prophet 21 with other systems (e.g., CRM, financial systems, warehouse management) to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Prophet 21 users, resolving system issues and ensuring high system uptime. Data Management: Develop and optimize reports, dashboards, and queries to provide actionable insights into operations, sales, inventory, and more. Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Prophet 21. Compliance & Security: Ensure that all developments are in line with industry regulations, including healthcare-specific compliance and data privacy standards. Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of all code, modifications, and integrations to ensure the highest quality and functionality. Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with Prophet 21 updates, new features, and best practices, and proactively suggest improvements to the system. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Prophet 21 Developer or a similar role within an ERP environment. Strong knowledge of Prophet 21 system architecture, tools, and customizations. Proficiency in SQL, C#, VB.NET, and other relevant programming languages. Experience with Prophet 21s API and integrations with third-party applications. Solid understanding of supply chain, inventory management, order processing, and financials, especially in the industrial packaging industry. Familiarity with industrial packaging regulations and standards, including HIPAA and FDA requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
