Position: Software Engineer Location: 10S Dearborn Street, Chicago , IL 60603: (Hybrid role, 3 days/week onsite) Duration : Long term Experience Required: Relevant hands-on expertise Must Have: Java Spring AWS Required Skills: Strong technical skills in Java, Spring, Microservices, JPA, and Oracle Hands-on experience with CI/CD configuration using Jenkins and Groovy Scripts Expertise in AWS technologies, including S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, API Gateway, and Lambda Proficiency in Kubernetes and related deployment services, CDK/CloudFormation Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana Dashboards, and Datadog Ability to design, deploy, and scale web applications across data centers, ensuring compliance with disaster recovery practices Development of unit test cases using JUnit and maintaining them as the application evolves Experience with Agile methodology, Jira, and production management support Understanding of application performance alerting and vulnerability scans Job Summary/Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand incidents and provide resolutions Perform SRE tasks, including load balancing, traffic optimizations, and monitoring automation Troubleshoot applications, manage P1/P2 tickets, and support production Build, deploy, and scale robust applications compliant with disaster recovery practices Work with quality assurance teams and business/product teams to resolve issues and support user acceptance testing Perform vulnerability scans on application code and mitigate reported vulnerabilities Ensure robust application performance and resolve defects/issues during the warranty period Would you be open to discussing this further Let me know a good time to connect, or feel free to share your updated resume.
