This is a leadership role requiring expertise in re-architecting and modernizing legacy systems. The primary responsibility is to reverse engineer existing PowerBuilder modules and re-architect them using modern technologies, specifically C#. Key Responsibilities: Lead the analysis, design, and re-architecture of PowerBuilder modules into C# applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and align technical solutions. Define architectural standards, best practices, and frameworks for the modernization effort. Ensure high-quality deliverables by performing code reviews and providing technical mentorship to the development team. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA engineers, and project managers. Develop technical documentation and architecture diagrams to support project requirements. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the re-architected applications. Required Skills and Experience: Strong expertise in C# and .NET framework. Proven experience in PowerBuilder, with the ability to reverse engineer and analyze legacy systems. Hands-on experience in system modernization, re-architecture, and migration projects. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Experience with database systems and SQL, preferably with legacy and modern database environments. Knowledge of healthcare domain systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to lead and mentor a development team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with modern front-end technologies and frameworks. Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud platforms. Understanding of healthcare regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
