Position : SQL
Database Administrator

Location: 810 Jefferson Street SE, Olympia WA
(Mostly Remote with occasional
onsite visits)

Duration : 6+ Month

Only PST or MST candidates.

Experience with healthcare domain preferred

Period of Performance

The initial
period of performance of any Contract(s) and Work Order resulting from this
RFQQ is anticipated to begin 2025, and end June 30, 2027. WAHBE, at its sole
discretion, may extend the period of performance through June 30, 2030, in
whatever time increments WAHBE deems appropriate.

Scope and Description:

Database Administrator (DBA) Resources are responsible for
the administration and maintenance of the organizations database platforms.
They use established database standards, procedures, and processes to ensure
that systems are healthy and functional. They build and execute scripts to
modify data in organizational databases. A DBA develops and maintains highly
available databases, including physical dictionaries and data models, and
implements changes and performance enhancements. DBA Resources may access
Federal Tax Information. Background checks required, per IRS Publication 1075,

Mandatory Requirements:

Associates degree
in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and experience in
IT.

7 years of
experience in enterprise RDBMS Database administration with large-scale,
mission-critical applications (Microsoft SQL Server 2012+). Formal education in
Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field can be
substituted for the following years of experience: Bachelors Degree 1 year
Masters Degree 2 years Does the Vendor meet these requirements Select Yes or
NO Describe how Vendor meets these requirements: 1.b. Mandatory Vendors
proposed Senior Level Resource must have:

Experience with
Database Server Performance and Optimization tools.

Experience managing
database backup, restore and data archiving tasks.

Experience with
Microsoft SQL Server security best practices.

Advanced knowledge
of AlwaysOn, Transactional Replication, Clustering and T-SQL.

Experience with
implementing database upgrades.

Experience with
Database PAAS solutions in a cloud solution.

Experience with CI
CD process and setup from database end.

Scripting
knowledge for automating day to day tasks ( script, Power ).

Knowledge on Azure
Data Factory.

Knowledge on ETL
data warehouse architecture.

Working experience
on CDC tools & replication.

Installs, Patches,
upgrades, and maintains the system health

Desired skills:

Certifications in
Microsoft SQL Server.

Experience with T
SQL scripts and Batches.

Experience with
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS/SSAS).

Knowledge on No
SQL databases like Cosmos DB or MongoDB.
