MAIN SKILLS: Java/Kotlin Development (50% / 50%), There will be a coding exercise GCs/USCs SUMMARY We are looking for a strong Senior Kotlin/Java Engineer for our Middleware/API engineering team. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences or equivalent. 10+ years of IT experience. 7+ years of Java/functional programming experience is a MUST. 3 years of experience in Kotlin is a MUST. 2 years of experience with Cloud stack, Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP, etc. is a MUST. Expertise in objected oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms. Thorough understanding of JSON, REST API technologies, and data structure fundamentals. Good understanding of Design Concepts and Design Patterns. Experience in designing and building Event Driven Architecture. Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing. Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts. Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, product, and experience owners. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and DevOps. Knowledge of GraphQL technology is a big PLUS. Experience with banking domain is a PLUS. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Applying design patterns in developing scalable and highly performant application/features. Writing code and unit tests, automation, code reviews and testing. Deploying to production and DevOps. Work with Product Managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues. Manage your own time and work well both independently and as part of a team. Quickly generate and update proof of concepts for testing and team feedback. Experience with banking domain is a PLUS, but not a necessity.
