Provide day-to-day application-level support for production incidents and L2 support. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure successful delivery and implementation of assigned tasks. Coordinate release activities with other teams (internal and external), partnering with the Change Management group to ensure a smooth and trouble-free roll out of releases. Troubleshoot and debug issues to resolve problems quickly. Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to resolve issues using critical thinking and analysis skills and best practices. Responsible for production infrastructure environment management including OS & security patching. Assist in the managing and maintaining of all environments, ensuring that these environments are properly setup, configured, and highly available for each project as scheduled. Skills & Experience needed Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field 3-5 years of experience with L2 production support Knowledge of development and deployment best practices Experience with infrastructure management and system administration Experience with Python, Perl, SQL, JavaScript Must have experience with (or knowledge of) SSIS, SSRS & MSSQL OR Must have database experience: Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Well versed with SDLC processes, Git / Bitbucket & test automation Needs to have excellent organization, communication, and a diligent approach to problem solving Proficient in Linux and Windows Operating system Well- versed with Incident life cycle management, Problem life cycle management. Experience with a ticketing system like ServiceNow or JIRA Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently Strong communication and documentation skills Capable of working individually and/or with a large team comprised of multiple disciplines Must have one or more of the following skills: Angular, Java Microservices/Restful APIs Databases: MS SQL, Oracle (MS SQL preferred) Cloud DB: Snowflake General Operations and Batch Monitoring: Autosys, Ctrl-M or equivalent.
