Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Experience with frontend technologies like React, Vue.js, or similar frameworks. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or custom-built systems. Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs. Experience with integrating payment gateways, shipping services, and other third-party APIs. Familiarity with Ruby on Rails (preferred but not mandatory). Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for e-commerce systems and Twist API projects using Python, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks. Optimize and scale backend services to handle high traffic and transaction-heavy environments. Create efficient and secure APIs for integration with third-party services. Implement robust and efficient data models and ensure optimal database performance. Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and frontend developers, to deliver seamless user experiences. Perform thorough code reviews, debug issues, and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions independently. Enhance the security, performance, and reliability of e-commerce systems and APIs. Stay updated with the latest technologies and propose improvements to the existing architecture. Ideal Candidate: Demonstrates independent problem-solving skills and is capable of managing tasks with minimal supervision. Has experience with both backend and frontend technologies, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Strong understanding of e-commerce workflows and API-based integrations.
