Position Overview: As a Business Systems Analyst (BSA), you will join the Terminal Automation Product Team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements, prioritize tasks, and assist in the deployment of solutions. Your role will involve significant use of SQL for managing databases, reporting, and handling business process improvements in the TMS system, Operational Technology Platform, and GIS Database. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and prioritize user stories and acceptance criteria. Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure a clear understanding of requirements. Conduct requirement gathering using techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys. Analyze and document business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals. Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Develop and execute test plans to ensure successful implementation of solutions. Provide ongoing training and support to end-users, ensuring adoption of new systems and processes. Support afterhours on-call rotation as part of the team. Skills/Competencies: Proficiency in Agile Methodology (3+ years of applying Agile principles) Strong SQL skills (database management, reporting, triggers, stored procedures) Business Process Modeling & Redesign experience Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with Oil & Gas industry, Terminals, and COTS applications Experience with Guidant FuelFACS TMS is a plus Preferred Experience: Oil & Gas industry expertise Terminal Management Systems (TMS) and COTS application support Knowledge of Agile processes Guidant FuelFACS TMS experience is preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Agile methodology Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Bachelors degree in a relevant field Keywords: wtwo Ohio Texas Business System Analyst- Onsite- Need Locals resume@msysinc.com |
