The ideal candidate will have hands-on development experience with SAP DataSphere for ETL processes for custom data extraction and transformation, and extensive use of SAP LTMC or HANA Migration Cockpit for managing the migration process. You will be responsible for designing and executing data migration ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity, and working closely with functional and technical teams to meet business requirements. Strong knowledge of S/4HANA data models, data governance, and post-migration support is required. A background in SAP BODS, SAP HANA, SQL, and data integration tools is a plus, along with familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Data Migration: Lead end-to-end data migration activities using SAP DataSphere and SAP BODS. Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle. DataSphere Expertise: Utilize SAP DataSphere to design and implement data models, data pipelines, and data integration workflows. Ensure effective data integration and data quality management. BODS Expertise: Develop and maintain ETL jobs using SAP BODS to support data migration efforts. Optimize data flow, performance, and data quality in the migration process. Technical Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to understand data migration requirements. Perform data profiling, data mapping, and gap analysis to develop effective migration strategies. Data Quality and Validation: Implement data quality checks and validation rules to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of migrated data. Develop and execute data reconciliation processes. System Integration: Work with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP DataSphere, SAP BODS, and target SAP systems. Address integration challenges and ensure smooth data transfer. Testing and Deployment: Participate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure the successful deployment of data migration solutions to production environments. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for data migration processes, including technical specifications, data mappings, and migration scripts. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimizing data migration processes and improving performance. Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency of data migration projects. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data migration, data quality, and system integration. Provide ongoing support throughout the contract period. Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP data migration projects, with specific expertise in SAP DataSphere and SAP BODS. DataSphere Skills: Proven experience in using SAP DataSphere for data modeling, data integration, and data pipeline development. BODS Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) for ETL processes, including job design, data transformations, and performance optimization. Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SAP data structures, database tables, and data models. Familiarity with SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO) and their data migration requirements. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data migration scenarios and design effective solutions. Data Quality: Experience in implementing data quality checks, validation rules, and data reconciliation processes. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Certifications: Certification in SAP DataSphere, SAP BODS, or related SAP data management tools is advantageous but not mandatory. Availability: Ability to commit to the contract duration and adapt to project demands in a dynamic work environment.
