Job Description - Job Title: Senior System Administrator Duration: 6 months Locations: 2-3 days a week Plano, TX MOI: Skype and F2F Applications range from Client / Server applications to Web apps for a Network Access Control solution, Cloud software integration, and 3rd party devices and software applications. Professional Skills: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in engineering datacenter lab management for software and hardware dev teams Strong knowledge and experience with virtualization platforms (Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, KVM, and VMware) and network administration/architecture (Cisco, Juniper, Brocade and the like). This is very important to be accepted and successful in this role. Exceptional working knowledge/experience administering server operating systems (Windows & Linux). Strong experience with VMware vRealize and other lab automation tools. Solid working experience with Jira and Confluence. Hands-on experience with Linux, Python, and other scripting languages is recommended. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software and network issues logically and analytically. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Understand highly available, resilient, and scalable network infrastructure and services. IP v4/V6 addressing scheme.
