Roles and Responsibilities: Focused on the overall solution that will integrate with the digital channels Build and design and be creative Suggest refactoring of existing garbage to make it more resilient Make the application available 24/7/365 as the application is not there right now and planning to get there by September of this year. Must Have Technical Skills: (Min 8+years of exp required in all of the below skills) Java/Springboot - 8+years Code refactoring - 8+years Building application for large scale deployment - 8+years Education/Certifications: Relevant work experience in lieu of education Any Java Certifications - not required, but nice to have Any Domain driven design and modeling Certifications - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Summary: The main function is to set standards and coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. The typical database architect is involved in both improving the reliability and performance of a database along with planning and implementing future improvements to database architecture. Job Responsibilities: Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications Write technical documentation of improvements made to system technologies Troubleshoot various database system errors Implement new database technologies and security solutions Skills: Strong knowledge of database management software Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
