Role: Network Operation Lead Location: Santa Clara, CA Onsite Type: Contract Job Description: Minimum 8 plus years of experience in designing, configuring, and implementing enterprise-class network solutions using Cisco, Arista, and Mellanox hardware. Ready to be hands-on if required to replace, troubleshoot onsite devices. Prior rack and stack experience can help. Knowledge of troubleshooting, implementing, optimizing, and testing of dynamic routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and ability to interpret and resolve route table problems. Knowledge of EVPN & VXLAN is preferred. Network Security, with primary skills on Palo Alto and Cisco Firewalls. Firewall device optimization such as rules consolidation/fine-tuning & periodic firewall rule base review. Design and implement WLANs and other wireless networks using Cisco and Juniper MIST. Hands-on experience working in an ITIL structured organization dealing with Incident / Change / Problem management. Basic knowledge of tools like Wireshark, Kentik, Prometheus, or similar monitoring tools. Knowledge of Linux OS will be an added advantage. Experience with Saltstack/Python automation is a plus.
