From: Ritika Arora, GVR Infotek [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Job Title: Java Architect (JEE, JSF, JSP, J2EE, JPA/Hibernate) Location: State of New York Contract Type: Hourly-Based IT Services (HBITS) Contract Duration: 30 Months (Possibility of Extension) Need Local Candidates to NY Required Experience: 84 months of experience guiding iterative development teams involved in planning, designing, implementing, and integrating complex JEE-based systems, with a focus on data structures, algorithms, and software design. 60 months of hands-on experience developing applications using Java Development Kit (JDK 1.6 or higher). 60 months of experience developing applications using JSF (JavaServer Faces) or JSP (JavaServer Pages). 60 months of experience in developing applications using J2EE technologies, including messaging systems and queues. 60 months of experience working with JPA (Java Persistence API) and/or Hibernate for database interaction, specifically with Oracle or SQL Server databases. 60 months of experience in application development on IBM WebSphere Application Servers, JBOSS, or Tomcat. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and integrate complex systems using JEE-based technologies. Provide guidance and mentorship to iterative development teams, ensuring best practices in software development are followed. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from design to deployment. Develop, maintain, and enhance applications, ensuring they meet the requirements for functionality and performance. Manage and troubleshoot issues related to J2EE technologies, databases, and application servers (WebSphere, JBOSS, Tomcat). Qualifications: Strong experience with JEE-based systems and related technologies. Expertise in JDK, JSF, JSP, J2EE, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL databases. Experience with IBM WebSphere, JBOSS, and/or Tomcat application servers. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
