The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Okta Identity Cloud and the ability to build and maintain integrations between Java-based applications and Okta Single Sign-On (SSO).Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Okta SSO integrations for Java-based applications using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML protocols. Design and maintain secure, scalable authentication and authorization mechanisms in web applications. Customize and configure Okta Identity Cloud, including provisioning, MFA, and directory integrations. Build Java-based middleware and microservices to enable seamless user authentication and lifecycle management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Okta SSO configurations, API integrations, and user access. Collaborate with application development teams to integrate Okta's IAM solutions into existing architectures. Write clean, efficient, and reusable Java code to support authentication workflows and API integrations. Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and security assessments. Document integration processes, workflows, and technical configurations.Required Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of Java development experience, including frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate. Proven experience in Okta SSO configuration and implementation. Strong understanding of authentication protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML 2.0. Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and managing JSON-based integrations. Experience with JWT tokens, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and access control mechanisms. Familiarity with identity lifecycle management, user provisioning, and directory integrations (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory). Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and debugging Java-based applications and Okta integrations.Preferred Qualifications: Okta Certified Professional or Okta Certified Developer. Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular or React for secure UI integrations.
