From: Sam, AE Talents [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position title : Business & Data Analyst Location : NY - New York - Bryant Park Duration : Long term Visas : GC, USC, TN and H4 The Sr. Business & Data Analyst plays a critical role in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Enterprise Marketing Database. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define requirements, assess technologies, and develop solutions. Acting as an internal consultant, the analyst provides expertise in business processes and technical guidance on complex projects. Responsibilities: Produce functional requirements and develop end-to-end database solutions in an Enterprise Data Office environment. Document processes and mentor staff through the software development lifecycle. Lead the collection and analysis of business requirements for large projects. Participate in new product reviews, tests, and pilots. Conduct feasibility studies and translate requirements into appropriate designs. Identify and resolve conflicting business practices and integration issues. Foster and maintain relationships with customers and IT colleagues. Analyze new data sources for integration into SiriusXM's Marketing Database. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and policies. Work with Operations teams to implement control objectives for data movement processes. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in writing functional requirements, with data warehouse experience required. Bachelor's/Associate degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. Strong public speaking and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team, pay attention to details, and stay organized. Commitment to internal client/customer service principles and willingness to take initiative. Proficiency in spelling, grammar, proofreading, and editing. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Minimum 2 years of experience in writing SQL. Minimum 2 years of experience with Cloud (S3, Redshift, etc.) or on-prem Database (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Experience implementing best practices for Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) development.
