Position: SQL DBA Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite) Need Locals Duration: 12+ Months Contract Responsibilities: Ability to perform day to day database administration tasks with deep understanding of SQL Server internals e.g. Indexing, partitioning , filestream , Always-On , replication cctv and Mirroring technologies. Troubleshoot and provide advice on SQL Server performance issues and be able to work with application development teams and provide recommendations. Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools Knowledge of relational databases, T-SQL, query execution plans, solving concurrency issues and deadlocks Knowledge of administrating azure SQL databases is an added advantage. MSSQL DBA Certification will be added advantage.
