Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure platforms, strong project management skills, and a thorough understanding of cloud architecture and migration strategies. Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture: Design Azure-based solutions that align with best practices for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Create detailed architecture documentation, including network diagrams, data flow charts, and technical specifications. Migration Planning and Execution: Assess the current Azure environment and create a comprehensive migration strategy. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for the migration. Execute the migration plan, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to services. Perform post-migration validation and performance tuning. Utilize deep knowledge of Azure services, including computer, storage, networking, and security features. Leverage automation tools and scripts (e.g., Power, Azure CLI) to streamline migration processes. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during migration. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Security, and Application Development, to ensure successful migration. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues. Conduct training sessions and create documentation to support the ongoing use and management of Azure services. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all migrations adhere to organizational policies, industry standards, and compliance requirements. Stay current with the latest Azure developments and best practices to continuously improve migration processes. Technical Expertise: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable. Experience: Experience in cloud computing, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Azure. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure services, Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and tools (e.g., IAM, Key Vault, Security Center). Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to develop solidly testable components for Java REST API. Ability to program in Java/ Python, Spring Boot, C, C++, C#. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hybrid cloud environments. Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS). Experience with large-scale data migrations and database technologies.
