Position: QA Automation Engineer with SeviceNow Exp Location: Santa Clara/ San Diego, CA (3 days a week onsite is must) Duration: 3 years Job Description: We must need someone with ServiceNow platform experience for this role which is mandatory. What to do in this role: Collaborate with developers and product managers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed. Generate comprehensive test plans and test cases and execute them for feature verification and regression. Work with other QE members, Developers, and devOps members on regression testing and change verification on production for product releases. Contributes to participating in all quality activities within the Quality Engineering team including Testing, Automation, Test Planning, Design, Debugging, Execution, Review, Customer Support, Reporting and Monitoring. Drives continuous improvement initiatives that focus on software quality and delivery of delightful User Experiences. Design and implement test automation for new features and existing features for regression testing. What is needed to be successful in this role: 5+ years professional experience with quality assurance and/or application development and Java programming with Selenium, Junit and TestNg. Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Maven, Eclipse and git, cloud providers (AWS, Azure), Java Scripts. Hands-on Experience with SQL queries and solid understanding of database concepts. Hands-on experience with various unix platforms (basic commands). Good understanding of software design patterns, algorithms and data structures. Good understanding of web service APIs and Automation Testing. Experience with agile methodology and working in enterprise cloud based technologies. Proven ability to learn new tools and technologies with minimal guidance. Desire to seek continuous improvement in the quality assurance processes.
