Job Title: Pega Developer with Java experience Location: Princeton , NJ(Local Only) Job Type: Contract to Hire Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Pega applications using best practices and frameworks. Integrate Pega solutions with existing systems and third-party services, utilizing Java where necessary. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements. Customize Pega rules, processes, and workflows to meet specific business needs. Write efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code to extend Pega capabilities. Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Pega applications and related integrations. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Pega applications. Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Pega development (Pega Certified Developer preferred). Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.). Experience with Pega integrations using REST/SOAP APIs. Familiarity with Pega BPM and case management. Understanding of database systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.). Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
