Role : ServiceNow Workspace & UI Builder Developer

Location : Remote - New Jersey

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Workspace & UI Builder Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing user-centric, scalable, and intuitive solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role involves creating custom interfaces and workspaces using UI Builder, driving innovation, and enhancing user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and Customization:

Design and develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces in ServiceNow using UI Builder and Workspace capabilities.

Customize and extend ServiceNow components to align with business requirements.

Leverage Now Experience Framework to create reusable UI components.

Solution Design:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for workspace and UI solutions.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for new interfaces and workflows.

Ensure solutions meet accessibility and usability standards.

Integration and Implementation:

Integrate external data sources and APIs into ServiceNow to create dynamic and interactive user interfaces.

Implement data visualizations and dashboards within the workspace environment.

Performance Optimization:

Monitor and improve the performance and responsiveness of ServiceNow workspaces.

Identify and resolve UI/UX issues promptly.

Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including process owners, architects, and developers.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers or team members.

Conduct regular code reviews and maintain code quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Proven experience with ServiceNow platform development, including Workspace and UI Builder.

Strong understanding of the Now Experience Framework and experience creating custom components.

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS/React.

Familiarity with ServiceNow Service Portal, Widgets, and Integration Hub.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization skills.

Communication and Collaboration:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.

Certifications and Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Application Developer or Certified System Administrator, are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Familiarity with additional ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM, CSM, or ITOM.

Knowledge of REST APIs and integrations with third-party systems.
