The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end data migration solutions to Oracle environments with minimal disruption. Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Migration and Replication: Design, configure, and implement data migration solutions using Oracle GoldenGate and ZDM. Perform real-time and batch replication of data from heterogeneous or homogeneous sources to Oracle databases. 2. Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM): Plan and execute data migrations leveraging Oracle ZDM for seamless transitions with minimal downtime. Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor GoldenGate replication processes for performance and troubleshoot issues as needed. Optimize replication performance through configuration tuning. 7. Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed documentation for migration strategies, configurations, and processes. Generate migration progress reports and communicate with stakeholders. 8. Post-Migration Support: Provide support for stabilization and post-migration activities, ensuring system readiness and data integrity. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in data migration with Oracle GoldenGate and ZDM. Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Oracle GoldenGate, including bidirectional and unidirectional replication. Strong knowledge of Oracle Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM). Expertise in Oracle Database versions 12c, 19c, and later. Proficiency in PL/SQL, scripting, and database tuning. Familiarity with heterogeneous migrations (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL to Oracle). Understanding of cloud environments such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a collaborative environment.
