The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of lead experience and a total of 10+ years of industry experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work with Prudential in driving innovation and delivering robust financial service applications. Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience: 10+ years in software development. 3-5 years leading small to mid-sized development teams. Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Python, Node.js, React or Angular. Expertise in AWS development stack, including ECS, containers, GitHub, and API gateways (Kong/APIGEE). Strong knowledge of: Authentication and authorization enforcement in Java services. Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies. Designing and developing financial services applications. Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. Ability to guide and mentor teams while balancing technical and business priorities. Responsibilities: Lead development for innovative financial products within Retirement Strategies. Partner with product owners, designers, and delivery professionals to create modern, scalable solutions. Breakdown broad deliverables into actionable steps and execute them within timelines. Guide technical strategy for services and oversee the full software development lifecycle. Align deliverables with enterprise modernization goals and firmwide strategies. Drive best practices and ensure operational excellence across the team. Conduct code reviews, resolve technical challenges, and mentor team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product roadmaps and infrastructure strategies.
