Job Title: Dot Net Software Developer C#, MSSQL, DevOps, Kafka and Payment Card Processing Location: Remote (USA) Job Type: Contract -C2C Industry: Payment card (Credit Card) Processing Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with experience in C#, MSSQL, and DevOps practices, as well as expertise in payment card processing. In this role, you will develop, optimize, and maintain applications and systems that support secure and efficient payment processing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable solutions that meet industry standards and support business growth. Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and MSSQL, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. Payment Card Processing: Implement, maintain, and enhance secure payment processing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS) and best practices for handling sensitive payment information. Database Management: Manage and optimize MSSQL databases to support high-performance applications, focusing on indexing, query optimization, and data integrity. DevOps and CI/CD: Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments, utilizing version control, automated testing, and continuous integration practices. Troubleshooting and Optimization: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring system performance, security, and reliability in a payment card processing environment. Collaboration: Work closely with Product, QA, and Infrastructure teams to ensure alignment on project requirements, timelines, and goals. Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for applications, databases, and processes, supporting cross-functional knowledge sharing and system transparency. Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years of software development experience, with expertise in C# and MSSQL. Prior experience in payment card processing systems is required. Technical Skills: Strong skills in C#, MSSQL, and DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing secure applications. Payment Processing Knowledge: Familiarity with payment card processing and PCI compliance standards, including experience with secure handling and storage of payment data. DevOps Experience: Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and automated deployment processes. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and modern frameworks is a plus.
