The UX
Architect drives the experience architecture across digital products that
enable anyone to effectively support the mission in the ways they want. Through
leading collaborative and strategic qualitative and quantitative analysis,
research, discovery and design-thinking activities, the UX Architect is focused
on painting the bigger picture of Digital Product experiences, enabling a
shared understanding of the product-driven user and customer journeys, information
architecture ecosystem and audience definition.

The UX
Architect is accountable for understanding user sentiment and driving
measurable audience behavior change that delivers on business outcomes within
or beyond a specific Product vertical. This role requires an individual with a
high degree of empathy who possesses strong problem-solving skills, independent
self-direction, and an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS:

Works under the supervision of the Sr UX Architect to
prioritize, plan, and execute critical design initiatives that advance key
product goals.

Drives the creation, socialization, iteration and maintenance of
research-driven artifacts (customer journeys, audience personas,
information architecture ecosystem maps, etc.) to effectively express and
track user needs, goals, motivations and pain-points of target audiences,
and utilize these artifacts to identify, propose and prioritize the most
critical opportunities for experience iteration and improvement.

Applies user research, discovery and design thinking activities to
drive a collective empathy and understanding of the needs, goals and
motivations of target audiences and/or users of a digital product to
influence prioritization and drive experimentation.

Leads collaborative user research (such as user interviews,
audience surveys, etc.), discovery and design thinking activities to
gain a deep and collaborative understanding of user needs, goals and
motivations to inform top-level Product objectives and goals.

Guides the identification of the most useful and appropriate
experimentation methodologies (A/B Testing, Usability Testing, etc.)
and conduct research and analysis (discovery sessions, interviews, and
surveys) opportunities within the scope of the product or audience
journey.

Ensures that usability, accessibility, brand alignment and
consistency considerations are at the forefront of all digital
product design and architecture decisions.

Works within and across cross-functional, agile teams inclusive of
Product Managers, User Interface Developers, Content Strategists, Agile
Delivery Managers and Business Partners and others to establish an
audience-led perspective across all, contributing to organizational UX
maturity.

Working knowledge of UX tools (Axure, Figma, Confluence, JIRA,
Mural, Adobe Analytics
) Ability to perform user
discovery via facilitating workshops and conducting interviews and surveys
with both internal and external users.

Must absorb qualitative and quantitative data to develop and
communicate compelling narratives that can influence and inform
stakeholders.

Facilitates effective and efficient user-centered design workshops
to build empathy with user audiences, understand business objectives,
identify user needs, and collaboratively ideate digital solutions and
features with diverse groups.

Have experience in collaborating across
cross-functional teams in Agile environments, including working with
Product Managers, Developers, and Content Strategists.

Are adept in both qualitative and quantitative
research methodologies and understand how to turn insights into
actionable recommendations.

Familiarity with UX tools like Axure, Figma, Adobe Analytics, JIRA, Mural,
and Confluence.

Information Architecture:
Ability to create customer journeys, personas, and ecosystem maps.

Collaboration:

Proven success working in Agile teams and across functional areas.

Usability and Accessibility:
Knowledge of usability testing and accessibility standards.

Communication:

Excellent ability to create compelling narratives and present research
findings effectively.
