We are a Fortune 500 automotive company based in Austin or Detroit, seeking a Senior Front End Software Developer with a strong work ethic and a drive for excellence. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience working for companies that produce vehicles. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications, focusing on front-end services using Angular, TypeScript, Spring Boot and Postgres. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions, drive the architecture and design of new features, optimize performance, and ensure code quality through best practices like testing and code reviews. You will also work with our Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) and Manufacturing IT teams to help accelerate the development of one of our home-grown products for dealerships. We are looking for a Senior Front-End Software Developer who: Has a steadfast drive for excellence. Challenges themselves with an innovative spirit. Has an understanding of electrical wiring harness, general electrical concepts and vehicle diagnostics (this is a plus). Key Responsibilities: Developing scalable software solutions based on detailed business requirements and supported technology architecture. Actively engaging in development activities associated with developing new solutions and refining current solutions. Demonstrating success in software project delivery, experience driving technical efforts, and experience with a variety of development tools and technologies. Possessing technical depth and applied experience in multi-layer solution development, performance tuning, solution debug, incident triage/remediation, and usability improvement. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 5+ years specializing in Angular (preferably Angular 8+). Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
