This role is C2H so they have to be perm resident or Citizen. They have to sit in MD, VA, or DC but role is remote. Candidates must be able to code security features with C# to go with c# development skills and strong security skills. Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document Web applications using current .NET and SharePoint 2016/2019 development strategies within the Microsoft Azure cloud (and or On Prem). Customize new and existing SharePoint 2019 and 2016 custom solutions through Visual Studio, to include creation of new workflows, standalone Web parts and BDC objects to allow for real-time views into internal or external databases. Excellent understanding of the software development process, including design patterns, requirements analysis, testing, and deployment. Develop (code), implement, and maintain tools/applications. Ensures applications and systems possess exhibit sufficient controls. Perform unit testing prior to moving code/configuration to the QA process. Evaluate and researches upgrades, patches and new functionality. Research defects and solve for root cause. Ensure security of all Web sites and related applications. Experience with on-prem and cloud hosted SharePoint solutions. Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Apps and cloud migrations. Prepare High level and Low-level design documents and comply with all corporate and project configuration management policies. Conduct thorough reviews of vulnerabilities identified by the Checkmarx tool, ensuring accurate understanding and interpretation of issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address vulnerabilities swiftly, minimizing risks to the development lifecycle. Utilize Checkmarx for comprehensive vulnerability scanning, implementing best practices to ensure timely detection and remediation of potential security threats. Develop and apply efficient coding solutions and security patches to resolve identified vulnerabilities promptly, ensuring compliance with security standards. Continuously monitor and improve vulnerability management processes, providing insights and recommendations for future enhancements in the use of the Checkmarx tool. | Requirements Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software development (SharePoint and / .Net). Current certifications (e.g., MCSD, MCP, etc.). 5+ years hands-on experience with SharePoint Platforms (2019/2016) and 1+ year experience with SharePoint Online. Minimum of 8+ years of experience with software development in Microsoft .Net framework using C# language with strong emphasis on Object Oriented programming and design patterns. Analyzes applications for compliance with security protocols. Experience with web services, APIs and SOA architecture. Experience with resolving vulnerabilities and potential threats utilizing SAST and DAST tools. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and GIT. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular.js, Ember, etc. Strong background in .NET with SharePoint 2016/2019 Object Model experience. Experience with new toolkits for automation and AI (e.g., GitHub CoPilot) strongly preferred.
