Job Title: Project Engineer Location: Onsite at Global HQ (1917 Four Wheel Dr Oshkosh, WI 54902) Onsite Local Must have US Citizenship Travel expectation: at least quarterly or in month for approximately 3-5 days per trip. Includes trip locally to other Oshkosh Corp facilities but may include Murfreesboro, TN or Spartanburg, SC Travel expectation paid Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering w/electrical background Working knowledge and comfort working on electrical systems up to 1,000 Volts Experience designing high voltage electrical powertrain architectures Experience with specification development, integration, verification and validation test plans of electro-mechanical systems, power electronics, electrical machines, and high voltage energy storage Electrification related formal training, such as Electrification Engineering Graduate Certificate or Powertrain Electrification Capstone Experience designing hybrid or battery electrical vehicle electrical systems Expertise in battery chemistry, power converters, motor drives, and high voltage power distribution. Ability to develop and decompose system requirements and select components. Experience with documentation and design validation. Important skills include system integration, electrical engineering, power conversion, and motors.
